Coldplay is an English band of alternative style Britpop/Rock. They started in 1996. They components are: Chris Martin- vocalist, guitar and piano Jon Buckland- guitar Guy Berryman- bass Will Champion- drums The firsts songs of the group were inspirited by artists like Radiohead, Oasis... Mass media used de music of Coldplay for their documentaries. When they record “A rush of blood to the head” also participated in political and social causes. They help in Oxfam’s Make Trade Fair Company. X&Y, it’s the last CD of Coldplay. The most popular songs of this CD are: Talk, Fix you and Speed of Sound.

The name of my shool is IES Josep Brugulat.
It's compulsory do 4 years.
The course consists in 3 terms:
1st Term: From Semptember to December
2nd Term:From Januaryto March
3rd Term: From April to June
We always start classes at 9:00. Then we do the break time from 10:50 to 11:20.
After that we start classes and we finish at 14:05.
In the afternoon we do two hours and we finish classes at 17:25.
In Wednesday and Friday we only do classes in the morning.
We make some holidays, but the best holidays are in the summer because they last 3 months.
The subjects that we do are: science, maths, technology, art, music, english...
But my favourite subjects are: music, art, "c.v"...

My favourite sport is basketball because I can play this sport at home in the garden with my friends, family...
I don't like playing a match, I prefer playing other games like "21".
Sometimes I have gone to see some match in Girona and I have liked it.

.:Carnival:.
Carnival is in February. It's a funny time before Lent. People dress up as what they like.
There are many parades and fancy-dress parties. The places where people celebrate more Carnival is in Cadiz and Tenerife and here in Catalonia in the villages next to the coast.
I sometimes dress up with my friends and go to the parade of Banyoles. It's very funny.

My favourite meal of the day is dinner because after eating I can rest.
My favourite dish is pasta, precisely spaghetti "bolonyesa". This food consists in pasta, tomato, meat and grated cheese. I like it very much!
Whenever I can I love going to italian restaurants because they are better than the others. There are many italian restaurants in Catalonia!
